British singer Mr. Hudson who collaborated with Kanye West on his album 808's & Heartbreak (most notably on the fantastic song Paranoid) will be coming out with his second album Straight No Chaser which should be released Oct. 5. Kanye West co-produced with Hudson on the album. The second single off the album is Supernova feat. Mr. West himself. It is a wonderful slice of modern pop complete with Bleeding Love/Paranoid-esque drums. I adore the chorus and how it just soars. The Auto-Tune effect surprisingly works very well here. The melding of the modern auto-tune and the tribal drums is very successful, and this is a great showcase for Mr. Hudson.Thursday, July 2, 2009
